J’Fa the male german shepherd dog, 2.5 years old eating rabbit.

J’Fa’s Dad says: “We started feeding a raw diet because J’Fa was very difficult to feed using commercial dog food. We tried several different brands — from the reasonably priced kibbles to the super-expensive premium kibbles. We also always mixed in canned food to make his meal moist and yummy. These cans would cost anywhere from $2.00 to $5.00 each. He generally would eat a new food fine for a week and then suddenly turn his nose up at it and go days without eating. So we decided to try a raw diet after he sampled a chicken back left over from a whole chicken we bought to make soup. That was seven months ago. Not only has he not missed a meal since then, he loves to eat, looks fantastic and is in great health. In the photo he is eating favorite, a rabbit.”

If you are a raw feeder I would love it if you would send me a photo of your dog eating raw meaty bones to add to the gallery and help me reach my target of 1,000 raw fed dogs eating raw meaty bones captured on camera! Click here for how to send me your photo.
